Garage rock duo Sophisticated Dingo are ready to rip things up when they hit the road this August for a run of shows supporting the release of their new EP, Other Kid.
Melbourne mates Jimmy and Lew’s Other Kid arrived last month to positive reviews, with the four-track EP featuring crowd favourite ‘Feels Like Woah’.
Taking to the Gram to announce their six-date tour, Sophisticated Dingo wrote: “Can’t wait to get out on the road to celebrate our EP Other Kid. Can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by playing some special rooms for us old and new!”
The tour includes great local support in each city and kicks off at Brisbane’s P.F.R. Lounge on Sunday 10 August, with support from Haters and bent. The lads then travel to Adelaide for a free gig at the Exeter Hotel on Friday 15 August alongside Looch. Then it’s off to Perth’s Four5Nine on Saturday 16 August with Pretty Uglys and lovemenot, Sydney’s Buddy’s Barn on Friday 22 August alongside Problem Green and Wollongong’s La La La’s on Saturday 23 August with Dribs, The Sooky La La’s, Barr-nun and Raised By Wolves.
