Founded in 1997 by vocalist Jay Dunne, guitarist Simon Hepburn, bassist Damian Gardiner and drummer Adam Nanscawen (now Dan Kerby), 28 Days gained a loyal following after the release of their self-titled debut album in 1998.
They followed up two years later with their sophomore record, Upstyledown, which not only topped the ARIA Albums Chart but also provided the band with their biggest hit, ‘Rip It Up’, which made it all the way to #6 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
The group went on to release two more LPs before going on hiatus for several years. Recent years have seen the band back on the touring circuit and performing to sold-out crowds across the nation.
