Boom Crash Opera Celebrate 40th Anniversary with Australian Tour
The Aussie greats have announced a massive 20-date to in aid of their 40th birthday.

Boom Crash Opera are embarking on a massive 20-date tour to celebrate 40 years together.
The Hands Up In The Air – The Singles Tour takes in six states from October to December, with Boom Crash Opera performing all their biggest hits, including ‘Dancing In the Storm’, ‘The Best Thing’, ‘Great Wall’, ‘Hands Up In The Air’, ‘City Flat’, ‘Onion Skin’ ‘Get Out Of The House’ and more.
Boom Crash Opera will also perform their new single, ‘Latest Hustle’, their first release in 28 years.
Kicking things off at the Wallaby Hotel in Mudgeeraba on Friday 3 October, Boom Crash Opera crisscross the country performing shows in towns and cities such as Adelaide, Gosnell, Belmont, Torquay, Hobart and Castlemaine, before wrapping things up with a hometown show in Melbourne at The Pams at Crown on Saturday 13 December.
The group will be joined by special guests Nick Barker and Models on selected dates.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday 4 July at 9:30am local time via the band’s website.

Forming in 1985, BCO are one of Australia’s greatest rock and rollers, having released six studio albums across their 40-year career.
The band have had an impressive 13 songs make the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart and have toured relentlessly, having hit the road with the 1927 in 2024 along with supporting Roxette on their Aussie tour earlier this year.
The current lineup of original members Dale Ryder (vocals), Peter Farnan (guitar) and Peter Maslen (drums), alongside latest recruit John Favaro (bass), can’t wait to get back on the road and play for their fans this year.
