Blood Incantation Announce 2025 Australian Tour
Catch the modern day death metal behemoths at Lion Arts Factory this November.
American prog death metal architects Blood Incantation are bringing their Absolute Elsetour Down Under this November.
The brutal four-piece are touring in support of their 2024 album, Absolute Elsewhere, which received top marks across the board.
Kerrang! called it Blood Incantation’s “best album to date” while Clash had this to say: “Throughout this record, the sense of adventure and excitement is palpable – this is a band at the peak of their powers, having fun creating; it’s hard not to get caught up in such a truly unique and thrilling journey through the cosmos. If death metal hasn’t yet had its breakthrough critical moment, this might well be it.”
Joining Blood Incantation on their Aussie jaunt are fellow Americans and experimental cult rockers Secret Chiefs 3.
Blood Incantation’s Australian tour commences at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Wednesday 5 November and then hits Sydney’s Manning Bar on Friday 7 November, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday 8 November and Perth’s Amplifer on Wednesday 12 November, before coming to a close at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Thursday 13 November.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday 27 June at 11:30am local time via bloodincantation.org.
Formed in 2011, the current iteration of Blood Incantation comprises Paul Riedl (guitars, vocals), Isaac Faulk (drums), Morris Kolontyrsky (guitars) and Jeff Barrett (bass).
Often compared to bands like Death, Obituary and Morbid Angel, Blood Incantation are leading the charge for modern death metal, combining traditional sounds of the genre with psychedelic flourishes.
Over the past 14 years, the quartet have released three EPs and four albums, with their most recent and well-received being last year’s Absolute Elsewhere.
Catch Blood Incantation at Lion Arts Factory on Thursday 13 November. For full ticketing information, visit bloodincantation.org.
