Wildlands To Miss Adelaide in 2025
Festival organisers announced Wildlands will be “taking a break” from Adelaide this year.

In a blow to Adelaide’s summer festival scene, Wildlands won’t be taking place this year. While the event is still scheduled to go ahead in Brisbane and Perth, organisers have made the decision to axe the Adelaide leg of the EDM and hip hop focused festival.
Run by Untitled Group, the same mob behind some of the country’s biggest festivals, including Beyond the Valley, Ability Fest and Pitch, Wildlands has become a highlight on the local music calendar for the past three years.
Taking to social media to deliver the sad news, organisers revealed “Wildlands Adealdie will be taking a break” due to a shifting landscape. Read the full statement below.
“To our Wildlands Adelaide family,
We have made the difficult decision that Wildlands Adelaide will be taking a break this year.
This isn’t a call we wanted to make, especially after three strong years in South Australia, but the landscape has shifted, and the viability of delivering the event at the standard we hold ourselves to simply isn’t possible this season.
We’re excited for our strongest shows yet in Brisbane and Perth this year.
We remain proud of what Wildlands has brought to Adelaide over the years. It’s a city that’s too often overlooked when it comes to large-scale music events, and it meant a lot to us to deliver something ambitious and deserving of our fans.
Thank you for showing up and backing it, we are forever grateful and we hope to return to Adelaide in the future.
Until then, we’d love to see you in Brisbane, Perth or at our sister festival Beyond The Valley, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. To thank you for your support, we’re offering early access to tickets for all three events, before they go on sale to the general public.
Stay tuned,
Wildlands”
While the news isn’t good for SA punters, at least the festival hasn’t completely folded, with the hope Wildlands Perth and Brizzy can be ultra successful and give organisers the confidence to run the event in Adelaide again.
