After being announced as the headliner for new country music festival Strummingbird, Jelly Roll has revealed a run of solo shows while in the country.
The four-time Grammy-nominated artist is one of the biggest names in the music biz, with his 2024 studio album, Beautifull Brokern, having topped the Billboard Top 200. Beginning his career as a rapper, Jelly Roll transitioned into the country genre and has found massive success across the globe.
Along with performing at Strummingbird festival at Kawana Sports Precinct on the Sunshine Coast/Kabi Kabi & Jinibara on Saturday 25 October, Newcastle Foreshore in Newcastle/Mulubinba on Saturday 1 November and Claremont Showground in Perth/Boorloo on Sunday 2 November, the ‘Bloodline’ singer will perform solo gigs at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday 28 October and Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on Tuesday 4 November 4, along with a show in Adelaide on Sunday 26 October, with a venue to be announced.
Jellyroll will be supported by rising modern country stars Shaboozey and Drew Baldridge.
There are several presale options, with Mastercard cardholders presale access beginning Friday 8 August at 3pm AEST and running until Monday 11 August at 3pm AEST. Declared “one of Nashville’s fastest rising stars” by The New York Times, Jelly Roll has been putting in the work for over two decades, finally seeing a return in his effort in 2022 with the release of popular singles ‘Son of a Sinner’ and ‘Need a Favor’.
This led to his 2023 album, Whitsitt Chapel, debuting on the Billboard 200, with his 2024 follow-up, Beautifully Broken, claiming the number one spot.
This year, Jelly Roll has already toured with Post Malone and sold out his own North American tour, with Aussie fans in for a treat when the Tennesse artist touchs down in October.
