Austrian-Italian Patrizio Buanne returns to Australia for a three-date tour to commemorate his 20th anniversary as a performer.
Bursting through in 2005 with his debut album The Italian, which peaked at #3 on the ARIA Album Charts, Australians quickly fell in love with the singer, who would become a regular visitor to our shores over the years.
Buanne’s tour announcement coincides with the release of his new single, ‘Solamente Una Vez’, which is taken from his upcoming album, NapoLatino. Arriving in October this year via Universal Music/Decca Australia, the record consists of 20 songs, both covers and originals, and includes songs sung in Spanish and Latin.
“I still remember the feeling of releasing my first album 20 years ago — I prayed, wished and imagined music would carry me around the world. I am humbled and proud that it lasted that long and that I am still so warmly embraced in Australia,” said Buanne.
“This tour is a celebration of that journey with you all and I can’t wait to celebrate it with my Australian fans.”
Accompanied by renowned Australian classical artist Silvia Colloca, Buanne will perform three shows in December, commencing in Melbourne at the Palais Theatre on Sunday 7 December. Buanne then takes over the AEC Theatre in Adelaide on Tuesday 9 December before his final show at Sydney’s Darling Harbour Theatre on Thrusday 11 December.
Tickets for all three shows are on sale now via tegdainty.com.
