Adelaide’s favourite son Guy Sebastian has announced his first major headline tour since 2022.
The winner of Australian Idol season one is gearing up for his biggest Aussie tour ever in support of his forthcoming album, 100 Times Around The Sun.
Arriving August 8 via Sony Music Australia (pre-order here), Sebastian’s tenth studio album has been described as “his most personal, poetic and ambitious release to date.”
Along with performing tracks from 100 Times Around The Sun, Sebastian will play all his biggest hits, including ‘Battle Scars’, ‘Before I Go’ and ‘Choir’
“I honestly can’t wait to get back on stage and perform these new songs live,” says Sebastian. “This album is all about joy, perspective, and connection and nothing brings that to life more than a live show. Touring is the most fulfilling part of what I do. I love seeing the power of music bring people together. It’s why I do this.”
The tour commences on Thursday 16 April at Newcastle’s Entertainment Centre, with Sebastian making his way to Canberra, Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, Sydney, Wollongong, Adelaide and Perth, before wrapping things up with two final concerts in Melbourne at Margaret Court Arena on Friday 22 May and Saturday 23 May.
There are a whopping eight pre-sales between Monday 4 August and Thrusday 7 August, before the general on-sale takes place Friday 8 August at 2pm AEST. For full ticketing info, visit eglive.com.au.
