Alt-disco rockers Electric Six’s love affair with Australia continues, with the American act returning Down Under in 2026 for The Greatest Hits Tour.
Having sold out shows across the country in 2023 and 2024, including their hugely successful 20th anniversary album tour for debut album Fire, Electric Six have locked in seven dates across the country in March next year.
Renowned for their energetic live performances, combining disco rhythms with dirty riffs on songs about the seedier side of life, fans can expect a setlist packed with Electric Six’s biggest and best tracks, including ‘Danger! High Voltage’, ‘Gay Bar’, ‘Dance Commander’, Synthesizer’, ‘Down at McDonaldz’, ‘I Buy The Drugs’ and many more.
Electric Six’s The Greatest Hits Tour commences with two concerts in WA at Perth’s Rosemount on Thursday 12 March and Fremantle’s Freo Social on Friday 13 March. Electric Six then have dates lined up at Adelaide’s The Gov on Saturday 14 March, Brisbane’s The Triffid on Tuesday 17 March, Gold Coast’s Miami Marketta on Wednesday 18 March and Sydney’s Manning Bar on Friday 20 March, before wrapping things up with a final blowout at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday 21 March.
Pre-sale starts on Thursday 7 August at 10:00am AEST, with general on-sale commencing on Monday 11 August at 10:00am AEST. For full ticketing info, visit metropolistouring.com.
For almost three decades, Electric Six have been entertaining music lovers with their offbeat brand of alt-rock that incorporates everything from new wave and disco to glam and heavy metal.
Bursting onto the scene with their 2003 singles ‘Danger! High Voltage’ and ‘Gay Bar’, both taken from the band’s debut album Fire, Electric Six have gone on to release an incredible 16 studio albums, with their most recent being 2023’s Turquoise.
Electric Six have also built a reputation as a live band, with their energetic shows more of a performance than a standard gig. After selling out shows last year, you’ll want to snap tickets up for their Adelaide show quick smart once they go on sale, or you’ll be experiencing FOMO at the highest level.
Catch Electric Six at The Gov on Saturday 14 March. For ticketing details, visit metropolistouring.com.
