Frenzal Rhomb Hitting the Road for ‘A Man’s Not a Camel’ 25th Album Anniversary Tour
Everybody’s favourite Aussie punk rock troublemakers are heading on tour in celebration of their acclaimed fourth album.

Aussie punk legends Frenzal Rhomb are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their hit album A Man’s Not a Camel with an epic eight-date tour this October.
The current lineup of sole original member Jason "Jay" Whalley alongside Lindsay "The Doctor" McDougall, Gordon "Gordy" Forman and Michael "Dal" Dallinger will be playing all the hits from their acclaimed fourth album along with fan favourites and deep cuts from their extensive catalogue of tunes.
Frenzal Rhomb’s 25th anniversary album tour begins in Newcastle at The Hamilton Hotel on Friday, October 4. The lads then hit The Gov in Adelaide on Saturday, October 5 before playing shows at The Baso in Canberra on Friday, October 11, the Princess Theatre in Brisbane on Saturday, October 12, the Torquay Hotel in Torquay on Friday, October 18 and the Rosemount Hotel in Perth on Saturday, October 19. The final two shows of the tour take place at the Metro Theatre in Sydney on Friday, October 25 and at Melbourne’s famous Corner Hotel on Saturday, October 26.

Hands down one of Australia’s greatest bands to emerge in the 90s, Frenzal Rhomb have endured for over three decades. Forming in Newtown, Sydney in 1992, the group dropped their first EP, Dick Sandwich, in 1994, with triple j lambasting them for their immature lyrics.
The criticism didn’t deter the band, who continued to write catchy, hilarious songs, releasing their debut album, Coughing Up a Storm, a year later in 1995.
Touring Australia regularly and scoring support slots for international acts Bad Religion, The Offspring and Blink-182 helped Frenzal Rhomb build a solid fanbase, with their next two albums, Not So Tough Now (1996) and Meet the Family (1997) cracking the ARIA Charts Top 50.
After a two-year break from recording, Frenzal Rhomb returned with a bang in 1999, releasing arguably their most popular album, A Man's Not a Camel. While their humour isn’t for everyone, the album connected with Aussie audiences and peaked at #11 on the ARIA Charts, with triple j finally getting on board and adding the album’s singles ‘You are Not My Friend’, ‘Never Had So Much Fun’ and ‘We're Going Out Tonight’ to regular rotation.
The past 25 years have seen Frenzal Rhomb release six more albums, including 2023s energetic The Cup of Pestilence, which maintains their knack for writing fun and humorous tunes made for rocking out to.
