Strung Out Announce 30th Anniversary ‘Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues’ Australian Tour 2026

Californian punk mainstays Strung Out are heading down under this September to celebrate 30 years of their landmark sophomore album, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues.
Released in 1996, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues is 32 minutes of melodic punk pop anthems that helped put Strung Out on the map.
Keen to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album with fans, Strung Out will perform a career-spanning set that includes the majority of tracks from Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues.
Touching down in Australia this September, the tour begins in Perth at The Rosemount on Wednesday 16 September. Strung Out will then play Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday 18 September, Melbourne’s Croxton on Saturday 19 September, Brisbane’s Crowbar on Sunday 20 September, Gold Coast’s Miami Marketta on Tuesday 22 September, Caloundra’s Kings Beach Tavern on Wednesday 23 September and Wollongong’s Dicey Riley’s on Thursday 24 September, with the final show at Sydney’s Crowbar on Saturday 26 September.

Since forming in 1991, Strung Out have released 10 studio albums, with their most recent being 2024’s Dead Rebellion, toured the globe and built a reputation as one of the most explosive live bands in the punk rock scene.
Despite several lineup changes over the years, OG members Jason Cruc (vocals) and Rob Ramos (guitars) remain alongside Chris Aiken (guitar), Derik Envy (bass) and Daniel Blume (drums), with Strung Out super excited to return to Australia and celebrate their seminal sophomore album with fans.
