Taking over Yartapuulti/Port Adelaide on Saturday 9 May, roving SA music festival New Found Sound has today revealed the festival’s set times and map.
Start planning your evening so you can catch as many of the 40 acts as possible, or pick your favourite venue and settle in with a drink and enjoy the musical entertainment on display.
Presented in partnership with City of Port Adelaide Enfield and Music Development Office, the third iteration of New Found Sound is a free, all-ages event located across ten different venues across the Port.
For the first time in the festival’s short history, New Found Sound features several interstate artists, with the biggest name being emerging Noongar Wongi rapper INKABEE, who is the youngest artist to ever feature on triple j’s Like A Version (he covered Black Eyed Peas ‘Where Is The Love?’). He’ll be joined by Guringai indie pop sisters Charlie Needs Braces, Tassie experimental duo Mum and Dad and Sydney punk outfit Canine.
As for the local lineup, it’s absolutely mad, with a diverse mix of genres represented. Some of our top picks include folk pop singer Ella Ion, Western Arrernte singer-songwriter Rob Edwards, electro pop newcomers Miss Orange Juicy, indie act Swapmeet, goth pop project Blood Circle and Modern jazz quintet Stickybeak.

Ten venues have been picked as part of New Found Sound 2026: Waterside Workers Hall, City of Adelaide Clipper Ship, the SA Maritime Museum, Lighthouse Wharf, Pirate Life, McGregor & Young Distillery, Colac Port Adelaide, Fergie Mac’s Lounge, 10 Gallon Hat and Port River Cruises.
“New Found Sound is the ultimate celebration of the creative spirit of the Port Adelaide precinct,” says City of Port Adelaide Enfield Deputy Mayor Barbara Clayton.
“Where else can you watch artists perform in front of a 156-year-old lighthouse, jump aboard
the country’s oldest clipper ship to experience one of Australia’s most acclaimed experimental musicians, take a cruise on the Port River to catch some of the state’s best folk acts, or head to one of Port Adelaide’s many iconic venues for an unforgettable afternoon and evening of live music.”
New Found Sound is a tremendous initiative that not only spotlights Australia’s musical scene but also everything great about Port Adelaide.
New Found Sound 2026 takes place across Port Adelaide on Saturday 9 May. More information is available at newfoundsound.com.au.
