Kiwi outfit Split Enz are reuniting this year for a run of headline shows across Australia next month to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their debut album, Mental Notes.
The band have announced seven dates, two of which sold out, and have today announced their tour support: sister duo Vika & Linda.
The two will play all their biggest hits alongside tracks from their forthcoming ninth studio album, Where Do you Come From?, which drops Friday 5 June.
Reuniting for the first time in over 20 years, Split Enz will feature original members Tim Finn, Neil Finn, Eddie Rayner and Noel Crombie, plus Matt Eccles on drums and James Milne on bass.
Split Enz The Forever Enz Tour will commence with two shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 May. The New Zealand icons then play Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Saturday 16 May before two shows in Sydney at ICC Theatre on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 May. The final two shows are at RAC Arena in Perth on Friday 22 May and Adelaide’s AEC Arena on Monday 25 May.

Forming in New Zealand in 1972 before relocating to Australia two years later, Split Enz quickly established themselves as chart toppers, going on to become one of the most influential Kiwi groups of all time.
Across more than five decades, Split Enz have released nine albums, including 1980’s True Colours, which is certified 5 x platinum in Australia, and have been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
The band has released a slew of massive hits throughout the ‘70s and early ‘80s, including ‘I Got You’, ‘I See Red’, ‘Message To My Girl’, ‘Six Months On A Leaky Boat’, ‘History Never Repeats’, ‘One Step Ahead’ and many more.
