Everlast Announces First Album in Eight Years, Shares New Single ‘My Hollywood’
Embers to Ashes is set for release Friday 28 August.

Irish-American rapper, singer and songwriter Everlast returns in 2026 with new album Embers to Ashes, his first full-length LP in eight years.
Dropping Friday 28 August via Martyr Inc Records, in partnership with Thirty Tigers and Regime Music Group, Embers to Ashes is produced by fellow rapper Yelawolf, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge and features cover art by award-winning artist Tristan Eaton.
The seed for the record was planted in 2015 when Everlast caught up with Yelawolf in Berlin instead of heading to Paris to attend an Eagles of Death Metal concert at Le Bataclan. During the night, Yelawolf explained how he would love to work with Everlast before news came through of the tragedy that took place at Le Bataclan, with the two finally reconnecting over the past 12 months to work on Embers to Ashes.
Everlast’s ninth studio album contains 17 tracks including the singles ‘Blood on the Wheel’, ‘Rubber Bullets’, ‘Stone’ and latest track ‘My Hollywood’.
Described as a light-hearted take on life in the entertainment business, the track finds Everlast spouting hard-earned wisdom over an acoustic guitar and absorbing beat.
The album is shaped by the last decade of Everlast’s life in Los Angeles, which includes watching his home burn down in the 2018 Woolsey fire, the pandemic, going through a divorce and more.
In Everlast’s own words, “the album is a collection of songs that revolve around my last decade, not necessarily autobiographical but ‘inspired by’ the chaos, losses and a few wins.”
Everlast is a Grammy Award-winning artist who has been making music for close to 40 years.
Getting his start as a teenager as part of Ice-T’s Rhyme Syndicate, Everlast was a founding member of pioneering Irish rap group House of Pain, whose 1992 single ‘Jump Around’ was a huge hit across the globe.
Going solo in the mid-90s, Everlast struck dirt again with his sophomore album, Whitey Ford Sings the Blues. The album topped the US Heatseekers Albums Chart and spawned the singles ‘What It's Like’, ‘Painkillers’, ‘Money (Dollar Bill)’, ‘Ends’ and ‘Today (Watch Me Shine)’.
Everlast has gone on to release a further seven albums, collaborate with Santana on the smash single ‘Put Your Lights On’ (which won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 2000), and tour the globe multiple times.
Focusing on the lessons he’s learned and his experiences as a father navigating loss, hope, growth and struggle, Embers to Ashes stands as Everlast’s most poignant release yet.
