TOWNS are back with punishing new single ‘SAY IT ALL’.
Released via AWAL, the track is a relentless hammer to the head that signals the next chapter for the duo of Aston Valladares and Dan Steinert.
“I remember the day this opening riff came about - it felt genuine but also confusing, like we’d stumbled into something new,” the band shares. “There was no template for what it should sound like. It just felt authentically us. That’s the feeling we’re chasing now - complete authenticity.”
There’s an urgency to ‘SAY IT ALL’, which was co-produced with Alan Day of Four Year Strong, a band who have hugely influenced TOWNS, and Ciarann Babbington of Bakers Eddy.
Speaking on what the song means, TOWNS add, “After so long between releases, we had a lot to say,” they explain. “This song is about speaking your mind when you feel like you shouldn’t, and owning everything that comes with that.”
The release of ‘SAY IT ALL’ is accompanied by a black and white music video shot by Leave The Crumbs that matches the intensity and anxiety of the song.
