Florida metalcore juggernauts Wage War are bringing their It Calls Me By Name World Tour to Australian shores this year.
Joined by Nashville metalcore outfit Orthodox and Melbourne heavy beasts Heavensgate, this tour marks Wage War’s first visit since 2024, when they were part of the Knotfest Australia lineup.
Wage War’s tour also comes hot on the heels of their latest EP, It Calls Me By Name, which dropped earlier this month.
Getting the tour underway in Perth at Freo Social on Thursday 30 July, Wage War performs at The Gov in Adelaide on Saturday 1 August, 170 Russell in Melbourne on Sunday 2 August and The Tivoli in Brisbane on Thursday 6 August, with the final date of the tour coming on Friday 7 August at Metro Theatre in Sydney.

Beginning life as Empires in 2010, a name change to Wage War kick-started the band’s success, with their 2015 debut album Blueprints climbing all the way to #3 on the Billboard US Heatseekers Chart.
Four more studio albums followed, a #1 single on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart for their track ‘Magnetic’ and a growing fanbase that has seen Wage War perform alongside Slipknot, A Day To Remember, Papa Roach, Architects, Parkway Drive and Three Days Grace, as well as appear at festivals such as Louder Than Life, Sick New World, Sonic Temple and many more.
