Aussie trio DMA'S have revealed their self-titled fifth studio album arrives on Friday 7 August via Wonderlick Entertainment/Sony Music Australia/RCA UK. The trio have also announced an East Coast tour to coincide with their new album, taking in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney to end the year.
The band’s new album was written and recorded between their own studio in Sydney and LA. Co-producing most of the record with Grammy-nominated producer Lach Bostock (Mansionair), with help from Jimi Somewhere & Styalz Fuego, DMA’s is the group’s most reflective work yet.
As for their tour, it all kicks off on Friday 27 November at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, followed by a show at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne on Saturday 28 November as part of the Live at the Gardens series. The final date of the tour is a hometown show at the iconic Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Thursday 3 December.
The Sydney show will also feature the band playing a special Hills End anniversary set to celebrate the 10-year milestone of their debut record.
There are pre-sales by Mastercard, Secret Sounds, Live Nation, MG Live, Live at the Gardens and Sydney Opera House all week, with the general on-sale taking place at 1pm AEST on Friday 1 May. For more information, visit dmasdmas.com.
