UK podcaster Chris Williamson is bringing his signature blend of storytelling, philosophy and insight to Australia, New Zealand and Bali in 2026.
Appearing on the first season of Love Island in 2015, Williamson found fame as the host of the podcast Modern Wisdom, where he discusses everything from politics and philosophy to science and social issues.
Having completed a successful sold-out tour of North America, Williamson’s Mostly Wise tour offers audiences “an evening of insights, face-palm clarity, and unexpected discoveries.”
“After thousands of hours speaking with some of the world’s sharpest minds, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that no one really has it all figured out, least of all me,” said Williamson.
“Mostly Wise is about embracing that reality, exploring the questions that actually matter, and laughing at the ways we get it wrong. It’s not self-help, it’s self-honesty. I can’t wait to bring that to life with everyone across Australia, New Zealand, and Bali. This stuff absolutely rules. Hopefully, everyone leaves feeling called out, seen, reassured, and a bit more wise.”
Williamson’s Mostly Wise tour begins in Australia with shows at Sydney’s Darling Harbour Theatre on Thursday 19 March, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Friday 20 March, Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Sunday 22 March, Perth’s Astor Theatre on Monday 23 March and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday 25 March.
The tour then heads to New Zealand, with Williamson appearing in Christchurch at Isaac Theatre Royal on Saturday 28 March and Auckland’s Bruce Mason Centre on Sunday 29 March, before his final speaking engagement at Bali’s Atlas Super Club on Wednesday 1 April.
Pre-sale begins at 9am AEDT on Tuesday 18 November, with general on-sale taking place at 9am AEDT on Thursday 20 November. For all the details, visit chriswilliamson.
