Kiwi funnyman Chris Parker returns to Australia in 2026 with his brand new show Take A Good Look At Me.
His latest tour follows last year’s Stop Being So Dramatic, which saw Parker perform to sold-out crowds throughout Australia, New Zealand, London and Edinburgh.
Taking to social media, Parker had this to say about his upcoming tour, “Australia, our obsession with each other is only growing stronger. I’m coming back in 2026 to tour my brand new comedy hour Take A Good Hard Look at Me.
“This new show does what it says on the tin - an opportunity for me to get up on stage in front of some bright lights in order for you to take a good hard look at me.
”As a way to hold myself accountable to staying honest and real with you all in 2026 I’ve also included a gorgeous video my husband took of me the other night. It’s the real me. Take a good hard look at it, and then book a ticket to one of the many shows I’m putting on next year in your fine country.”
Chris Parker’s Take A Good Look At Me 2026 Australian tour kicks off in Adelaide at Rhino Room as part of Adelaide Fringe from Tuesday 10 March to Saturday 14 March. Parker then performs at FortyFive Downstairs in Melbourne as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival from Thursday 26 March to Sunday 19 April. This is followed by two shows at the Comedy Store in Sydney on Thursday 14 May and Friday 15 May, two gigs at The Rechabite in Perth on Saturday 16 May and Sunday 17 May and four stand-up shows at Brisbane’s Powerhouse from Thursday 21 May to Sunday 24 May.

First finding fame during lockdown with his viral videos that connected him with fans across Instagram and TikTok, Parker went on to win the Fred Award for Best New Zealand Show at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival in 2021 for his solo show Gentle Man.
He’s since gone on to headline several comedy tours and made regular appearances on Thank God You’re Here and Have You Been Paying Attention?. Parker also co-hosts the podcast The Male Gays with fellow comedian Eli Matthewson.
