After being forced to postpone her The Remix Tour Live, which was scheduled to commence next month, UK comic and actor Suzy Izzard (formerly Eddie) has revealed new dates across Australia and New Zealand, kicking off next May 2026.
The Remix Tour Live is a celebration of Izzard’s 35-year career, from her debut 1993 tour The Ambassadors to 2019’s Wunderbar. The show is being touted as the remix, with Izzard reimagining some of her own favourite, personal comedy highlights for fans.
Izzard promises no night will be the same as she tackles all of the world’s biggest questions, such as what became of Darth Vader and Mr Stevens or the monkey in the tree, did the pears ever ripen… and will God ever appear?
“In the first 35 years of my stand-up career, I came up with many weird and crazy comedy stories. The ones I like the best will be in my 2025 live Remix Tour,” says Izzard.
Izzard’s The Remix Tour Live begins with five concerts in Australia at Hobart’s Odeon Theatre (Wednesday 6 May), Brisbane’s QPAC Concert Hall (Friday 8 May), Perth’s Riverside Theatre (Monday 11 May), Melbourne’s Hamer Hall (Thursday 14 May) and Adelaide’s Festival Theatre (Saturday 16 May).
The tour then goes to New Zealand for three gigs at Auckland’s The Civic (Wednesday 20 May), Wellington’s Michael Fowler Centre (Sunday 24 May) and Christchurch’s Isaac Theatre Royal (Monday 25 May), before wrapping things up back in Oz at Newcastle’s Civic Theatre (Thursday 28 May).
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via bohmpresents.com.
