LA-based Aussie Jack Gray returns home this September for a run of shows in support of his upcoming debut album Swimming In Jeans, out Friday 4 September via Island Records Australia.
The singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist's first album was written over the past three years and produced almost entirely by Gray, the collection of 12 songs capturing what life is like for those in their early twenties. “With this record, I just wanted to put the blinders on and trust my gut,” he shares.
Celebrating the album release with a national tour, Gray, accompanied by Jenzen Guino, kicks things off in New Zealand with a special performance at Auckland’s The Tuning Fork on Friday 4 September.
The Australian leg of the tour begins in Perth at The Y HQ on Saturday 5 September, followed by shows at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Sunday 6 September, Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on Thursday 10 September and Sydney’s Waywards Ballroom on Friday 11 September, with the tour coming to an end in Brisbane on Saturday 12 September at Black Bear Lodge.
Tickets for all shows are on sale here.
