Simple Minds Announce Australian & New Zealand Tour 2027
Simple Minds are celebrating five decades of music with special guest Gary Numan.

Scottish rockers Simple Minds are celebrating 50 years together with a tour of Australia and New Zealand next year.
“Simple Minds go back a long way with Australia and New Zealand, the thrill of performing for our fans down there never wears off,” says vocalist Jim Kerr.
Renowned for their global hits such as ‘Alive and Kicking’, ‘Promised You A Miracle’, ‘Waterfront’, ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’, ‘Belfast Child’, ‘Sanctify Yourself’, ‘She’s a River’ and ‘Let There Be Love’, Simple Minds are one of the most influential new wave rock acts to survive the ‘80s.
Accompanying Simple Minds on tour will be special guest Gary Numan, making his long-awaited return to our shores in over a decade.
Simple Minds begin their tour in Australia at Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday 13 February. Shows then follow in Adelaide at AEC Arena (Tuesday 16 February), Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne (Thursday 18 February), Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney (Saturday 20 February) and Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Sunday 21 February, before the band heads to New Zealand for three concerts at Auckland’s Spark Arena (Thursday 25 February), Wellington’s TSB ARena (Saturday 27 February) and Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch on Monday 1 March.

Across their 50-year career, Simple Minds have sold over 60 million albums worldwide, won an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection and scored three UK Album Chart #1s.
The band are best known for their global smash hit single ‘Don’t You (Forget about Me)’, which recently joined the prestigious Spotify Billions Club.
