Indianapolis indie go-getters Wishy have announced the release of their sophomore album, Nature’s Pill, out Friday 2 October via Winspear, while also sharing the album’s lead single, ‘Lovesick’.

Nature’s Pill features Wishy’s vibrant mix of heady indie goodness, dream-pop choruses and wild lyrics. Co-produced by Ben Lumsdaine, the band took a more collaborative approach to writing and recording the album.

Lead single ‘Lovesick’ is a warm, indie burst of joy with jangly guitars and a feel-good ‘90s vibe.

Vocalist Nina Pitchkites says of the track, “There’s not much more that needs to be said about yearning in 2026, but here it is anyway. Kevin and I are stupidly romantic people who like twee pop so that combination alone was a recipe for a cheeky ‘main character’ song. We really leaned into the overzealous lyrics here because 1) we’re allowed, 2) can do whatever we want and 3) it’s fun :) yay!”

Bursting onto the scene in 2023 with their EP Paradise, Wishy dropped their debut album Triple Seven a year later.

Critically acclaimed by the likes of Pitchfork, The Observer, Stereogum, NME, Paste, DIY, Dork and more, it led to the band enjoying a hugely successful run of live shows, releasing follow-up EP Planet Popstar and appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Comprising vocalists and guitarist Krauter and Pitchkites alongside guitarist Dimitri Morris, bassist Mitch Collins and drummer Conner Host, Wishy are excited to gift Nature’s Pill into the world.
