Good Things 2024 was another monster success, so much so promoters Destroy All Lines have revealed the dates for this year’s festival.
The punk, alternative and metal fest once again takes place in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane across the first weekend of December.
Although the venues have yet to be revealed, music lovers can start planning for Good Things 2025, with the event hitting Melbourne on Friday, December 5, Sydney on Saturday, December 6 and Brisbane on Sunday, December 7.
There’s been no word on when tickets will go on sale, with organisers suggesting punters sign up to the Good Things mailing list and follow their social accounts on Instagram and Facebook to keep updated on all the details regarding this year’s festival.

Since the first Good Things in 2018, the festival has established itself as Australia’s top alternative, punk and metal festival, taking over the mantle once held by the now defunct Soundwave Festival.
Last year’s event was a belter, headlined by Korn, Violent Femmes, Mastadon and Billy Corgan alongside The Gaslight Anthem, The Living End, Northlane, Jet and more.
Taking to Facebook to announce the dates of Good Things, organisers posted: “Good Things Festival 2025. SAVE THE DATES. Australia, we hear you! Yes, Good Things Festival is returning! Yes, we have the dates!”

Good Things Festival 2024 Dates
Friday, December 5 – Melbourne
Saturday, December 6 – Sydney
Sunday, December 7 – Brisbane
The annual two-day festival is being split between Wollongong foreshore and Wollongong city centre.
The ‘Dance Monkey’ singer will be joined by the likes of Lee Kernaghan, Tyler Braden, Sheppard and more.
The track arrives after Marlon supported Hilltop Hoods on their sold-out Australian tour earlier this year.
House of Cards includes the singles ‘Bleed’, ‘House of Cards’ and ‘Heaven Sent’.
The inaugural roster includes Slim Krusty, The Bennies, Young Offenders and more.
They will be joined by special guests Orthodox (USA) and Heavensgate.
‘Evian’ is the first taste of new music from Northlane in 2026.
Seven bands are set to take over Three Brothers Arms in Macclesfield for a day of awesome local music in June.
The duo will be joined by special guests Dingo (Brandon Dodd) and Ally Row.
The local music series features three incredible artists performing in a historic location in Adelaide’s CBD.
Strung Out are looking forward to celebrating their sophomore album with Aussie fans this September.
This is TOWNS’ first release since their 2024 album, sentimental slowdown.
This is the second track taken from Bachelor Girl’s upcoming album, Waiting For The Day: Artist Sessions.
The Welsh rock trio will be joined on the road by Cali metalcore outfit Kingdom of Giants.
