It’s official: Oasis are heading Down Under in 2025. After Rolling Stone Magazine revealed the Gallagher brothers were bringing their OASIS LIVE ‘25 World Tour to Australia, the band have today confirmed these rumours.
Taking to social media to announce the tour, the band says: “People of the land down under. ‘You better run-you better take cover...’ We are coming. You are most welcome. Oasis will tour Australia in 2025!”
The reunited Liam and Noel Gallagher have announced two dates – the first at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Friday, October 31, followed by a gig at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Friday, November 7.
The gap between concerts is strategic, with the Oasis set to reveal more dates after the first two sell out, which is pretty much guaranteed when you consider the demand for tickets when Oasis announced their UK tour.
Tickets go on sale for Oasis’ two Aussie shows on Tuesday, October 15 (9:30am local time for the Melbourne show and 11:30am local time for the Sydney show), with pre-sale taking place on Monday, October 14.
You can register for the ballot now via this link. Those chosen will receive an email on Friday, October 11 with all the details about the pre-sale.
This is huge news for Aussie Oasis fans, especially those who tried to get tickets to their UK tour but missed out. After the uproar dynamic pricing caused in the UK, the band have confirmed this will not take place with the Australian shows, so those lucky enough to score tickets won’t be paying thousands of dollars to see the Britpop icons.
Oasis’ tour of Australia will be their first of the country in 20 years, having last played back in 2005.

It’s been a massive month for Oasis fans, with the Britpop legends finally getting the band back together after calling it quits in 2009.
During their time together Oasis ruled the charts across the globe. Their debut album, 1994’s Definitely Maybe is the fastest-selling debut album in British history and spawned the hit singles ‘Supersonic’, ‘Live Forever’ and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’.
The band’s sophomore release (What's the Story) Morning Glory? was even bigger and cemented Oasis as the biggest band in the world at that time.
All seven of the band’s albums would top the UK charts, with hit single ‘Wonderwall’ becoming a favourite of Aussie fans, coming in at number one in triple j’s Hottest 100 of 1995.
Since the band’s split in 2009 both Liam and Noel have pursued successful solo careers, but it will be great to finally see the two reunited on stage performing Oasis hits together.
