Today, Canberra’s punk quartet SonicReducer have dropped their hotly anticipated independently released third EP, Living Room.
Across the EP’s five tracks, which include the singles ‘I Know (In The End)’, ‘Song for Steven’ and ‘Rosebank’, Sonic Reducer explores themes of self-discovery, confusion and emotional uncertainty.
“Living Room is our third EP, filled with themes of homesickness, nostalgia, and exploring the threshold between adolescence and adulthood, friendship and frustration, obligation and obedience. It has our best songs yet,” the band shares.
Celebrating the release of Living Room with a national tour, Sonic Reducer kick things off at the Retreat Hotel in Naarm/Melbourne on Friday 19 June. The four-piece then plays Dissent Bar in Ngunnawal/Canberra on Saturday 27 June, followed by La La La’s in Dharawal/Wollongong on Thursday 2 July, Deadset in Eora/Sydney on Friday 3 July and Beer & BBQ Fest on Friday 10 July in Tarndanya/Adelaide, before wrapping things up at The Base on Saturday 18 July in Mulubinba/Newcastle.
