After bringing his American Pie Emo Night to Aussie shores earlier this year, actor and musician Thomas Ian Nicholas returns for an encore run of shows.
Nicholas, who is best remembered for playing Kevin in the American Pie franchise, is throwing a ‘90s themed party paying homage to the film that made him a star.
Released in 1999, the teen comedy became a global smash hit, grossing over $235.5 million at the box office and catapulting Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Sean William Scott, and Shannon Elizabeth to instant fame.
Nicholas’ American Pie Emo Night celebrates the 25th anniversary of the movie and includes a screening of the flick, followed by a Q&A, giving fans the chance to ask questions about the film.
Then the Thomas Nicholas Band takes to the stage and performs all the biggest hits from the film alongside ‘90s pop punk classics and a few originals.
If that’s not enough, Nicholas will get behind the decks and bring the night to a close with a DJ set of emo bangers.

While it’s debatable whether a film like American Pie would get made today, there is no doubting the impact the film had. Not only did it produce a slew of young Hollywood stars, but the film spawned three official sequels (American Pie 2, American Pie Wedding and American Pie Reunion) and five spin-off films.
American Pie also influenced a long line of high school comedies, including Superbad, Road Trip, Van Wilder, Eurotrip, Not Another Teen Movie and more.
American Pie Emo Night shapes as a fantastic celebration of one of the great ‘90s comedies and offers fans a chance to interact with one of the film’s stars, with meet and greet tickets available for those who want a chat and picture with Thomas Ian Nicholas.
