Taken from the band's upcoming sophomore album, 'Nature's Pill', this track has a real '90s vibe.

'Mona Lisa' is the latest single taken from Wishy's forthcoming sophomore album Nature's Pill, out Friday 2 October via Winspear.

Giving off real '90s vibes, 'Mona Lisa' is a fun, breezy melodic track that's hard not to nod along to, with Wishy singer and guitarist Kevin Krauter saying of the track: "A courtroom drama starring love and apathy. Was all that pleasure worth all that pain? Will the opposing witness withstand cross-examination? You be the judge!"

Co-produced by Ben Lumsdaine, Nature’s Pill gets into the weeds about love, relationships and the human experience and features the previously released singles 'All The Rage', 'Lovesick' and 'Sensational'.

Speaking about the record, Krauter says, "We take that stuff and almost write in a fictional, hypothetical frame of mind. The songs capture romantic frustration and neurotic desire and the melodrama that ensues from simply being a person with emotions experiencing relationships and inner turmoil. But it’s embellished—nothing we do is overly confessional."

Formed by Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites after they met in high school, Wishy, rounded out by guitarist Dimitri Morris, bassist Mitch Collins, and drummer Conner Host, have been generating a buzz amongst music fans since the release of their acclaimed 2023 EP Paradise.

Following up a year later with their debut LP Triple Seven, Wishy quickly established themselves as one of the more inventive indie acts to come out of the US in years.

Wishy have appeared at festivals including Kilby Block Party and Riot Fest and are fresh off supporting Beach Bunny and The Beths this past summer as they gear up for a run of headlining shows across North America.

'Mona Lisa' is out now. Listen here. Nature’s Pill is out Friday 2 October via Winspear. Pre-order here.
