Creating a buzz with their rollicking single ‘Lovesick’, Indianapolis indie upstarts Wishy have gifted fans another taste of their upcoming sophomore album Nature’s Pill, out Friday 2 October via Winspear, in the form of the fuzzy guitar heater ‘All The Rage’.
Comprising vocalists and guitarist Krauter and Pitchkites alongside guitarist Dimitri Morris, bassist Mitch Collins and drummer Conner Host, Wishy have quietly become one of the most exciting bands to emerge from the States this year.
This is the type of track that gives you a warm feeling in the depths of your tummy, with the male/female harmonies absolutely delightful. Expressing the dread of a breakup through jangly guitars, vocalist and guitarist Kevin Krauter had this to say about the track:
“Hello Lovelies and welcome to the official Wishy press blurb for the second single !!!! Yayyy the song is out we are so happy!! :) Some ~Fun Facts~ about this song number 1. i wrote it after seeing artificial go and good flying birds play an awesome show major inspo 2. my roommate judah gave me some good pointers while i was writing it shoutout to him and 3. the band played all together while recording this one :) ok thanx enjoy!!!"
The track is accompanied by a Trent Wayne-directed music video shot in Atlanta, GA.

Co-produced by Ben Lumsdaine, Nature’s Pill explores themes of love, relationships and the human experience via indie and alternative sounds.
“We take that stuff and almost write in a fictional, hypothetical frame of mind,” Krauter explains. “The songs capture romantic frustration and neurotic desire and the melodrama that ensues from simply being a person with emotions experiencing relationships and inner turmoil. But it’s embellished—nothing we do is overly confessional.”
Despite touching on some heavy subjects, the band retains their humour throughout Nature’s Pill, making music they hope strikes a chord with their fans.“Being in an indie band feels bizarre when the world is on fire,” Krauter concludes. “What can you do at the end of the day other than carve out some space—at the very least I have my imagination and I can invite others to join me there. At a certain point you need to say fuck it and roll with it.” Sometimes you can’t make sense of it all. Nature's Pill finds Wishy gleefully giving into the madness. After all: If life is absurd, all the possibilities are up to you.”
