Dinosaur Jr.'s There Near is the band's sixth studio album in the 20 years since their triumphal rebirth. The LP was written and recorded over the course of a year at Bisquiteen Studio with the core Dinosaur Jr. trio of Mascis, Murph and Barlow, with a bit of piano and organ work by local master musician Ken Mauri.

As one of the most influential artists to come out of the '90s, Dinosaur Jr.'s legacy continues to grow with each release, with their 2027 tour shaping up as a must-attend for alt-rock music fans.

Catch Dinosaur Jr. performing at Hindley Street Music Hall on Sunday 24 January. Ticketing information is available at frontiertouring.com.
