The biggest night on the Hollywood calendar, the Academy Awards, is almost here, and to help celebrate the occasion, The Piccadilly are hosting a free Oscars screening of the ceremony on Monday 16 March.
The 98th Academy Awards, which is hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien, will be simulcast in the Lounge and Cinema 3 at The Piccadilly.
There will be an industry focus, with SA film, arts and media organisations invited to enjoy the celebration alongside the general public.
Although free and with walk-ins welcome, The Piccadilly encourages people to book seats to make sure you secure your spot in the Lounge.
The Red Carpet kicks off at 10:00am, followed by the ceremony at 10:30am, with the screening expected to finish at 1:30pm.
All your favourite candy bar favourites will be available, along with drink specials and exciting prizes up for grabs.

The night of nights, celebrating the cream of the crop, the Academy Awards is the most prestigious awards ceremony in the world of film.
Ryan Coogler’s Sinners has scored an incredible 16 nominations, the most in Oscar history, including Best Picture and Best Director, while Timothée Chalamet, at the age of 30, has become the youngest actor to earn three acting nominations, with the talent thespian up for Best Actor for his role in Marty Supreme.
As is the case with every Oscar Awards ceremony, there will be a few shocks, but fingers crossed Australia’s own Rose Byrne can take out Best Actress for her phenomenal performances in the drama If I Had Legs I'd Kick You.
