After selling out shows across India and the UK, The Grade Cricketer return to their spiritual home for a run of Australian dates.
The creation of cricket tragics Sam Perry and Ian Higgins, The Grade Cricketer is a long-running podcast discussing everything red ball related. Along with hosting the extremely successful The Grade Cricketer podcast, the lads have written two books and performed live shows all over the world.
Their run of Australian live shows takes place over the summer and features a cavalcade of special guests. Aiming to bring up the ton, Perry and Higgins’ first live podcast takes place at The Gov on Thursday, November 28, with legendary SA cricketer Greg Blewett joining the lads on stage.
The next test takes place at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday, December 4 and includes appearances from Marcus Stoinis and Ashton Agar, before The Grade Cricketer takes centre stage at Brisbane’s Tivoli Theatre on Wednesday, December 18, with Matthew Hayden padding up.
Ricky Pointing will join the live show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday, January 2 before the final innings at Melbourne’s Forum on Wednesday, January 8, with Aaron Finch enlisted as the 12th man.
Tickets for all five shows are available now through The Grade Cricketer website.

Beginning life as a parody Twitter account, The Grade Cricketer has turned into a media enterprise.
Started by good mates Sam Perry and Ian Higgins, who were both grade cricketers at the time, the Twitter account evolved into a hit podcast taking a humorous look at the gentleman’s game.
The duo have gone on to write two books, The Grade Cricketer (2016) and Tea and No Sympathy (2017), endorsed both real and fake products and presented their own TV show.
Catch The Grade Cricketer at The Gov on Thursday, November 28. Tickets on sale now via Oztix.
