Adelaide Fringe Unveils Massive 2026 Program With Over 1,500 Shows

Adelaide Fringe returns in 2026 from 20 February to 22 March with one of its biggest programs yet! Over 1,500 shows spanning everything from comedy, cabaret, circus and theatre to music, visual art, interactive works and large-scale immersive experiences will take over venues and locales across the state over four incredible weeks.
Turning Adelaide into a cultural destination, Adelaide Fringe will see the return of beloved Fringe institutions such as Gluttony, The Garden of Unearthly Delights, Rhino Room, Fool’s Paradise, Goodwood Theatres, Courtyard of Curiosities, Plant 4 Bowden, Arkaba Hotel, Holden Street Theatres and more as the city comes alive.
Program highlihgts include a strong program of First Nations–led works at Tandanya, the Smartphone Orchestra and Adelaide Youth Orchestra teaming up on a unique experience at the Star Theatres where the audience helps create The Score, new festival initaitaive Immersie Worlds, showcasing digital, sesory and experinmetnal art, and Cathedral Chiaroscuro, an immersive fusion of light, projection, and music set to transform St Francis Xavier Cathedral in the heart of the city on Wakefield street into a visual masterpiece.

2026 Adelaide Fringe runs from Thursday 19 February to Sunday 22 March. Tickets will be available through Fringetix with the full program available at Adelaide Fringe.
