Gluttony returns to Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka in 2026 from 19 February to 22 March with an absolutely stacked program.
Now in its sixteenth year at Adelaide Fringe, Gluttony features over 200 shows in 18 different performance spaces, including two venues, with the program having the largest number of music events and the widest range of musical genres within the entire Adelaide Fringe.
Gluttony co-directors, Elena Kirschbaum and Daniel Michael, said: “Everyone loves a party so we’re celebrating our sweet 16th by bringing our biggest ever bounty of entertainment to the East End and making Gluttony the home of music at Adelaide Fringe 2026.
“For 29 magical nights spanning five wickedly fun weekends, we’re serving up a bumper 200+ shows featuring the talents of local, national and international artists – and there’s literally something for every age, interest and budget.”
Next year’s program includes contemporary circus, comedy, improv theatre, magic, dance, and cabaret acts, along with 40 musical performances from a raft of acts and artists, incluidng the dance-fest History of House: Greatest Hits (DJ Groove Terminator + Soweto Gospel Choir), Hugh Sheridan and his California Crooner Club and the return of the beloved Gigs @ Gluttony series at open-air, outdoor venue, The Fantail, where you can catch the likes of NERO, Young Franco and The Beards.
Gluttony also runs three other open-air venues: open-air comedy clubs, The Piglet and The Squeaker – and Club Curious – a late-night hot spot for drinks and tunes.
Ms Kirschbaum said: “As a proudly South Australian-owned and operated Adelaide Fringe arts hub, we’re stoked that a third of the artists and producers programmed for Gluttony 2026 are homegrown; it’s proof that as well as staging some of the best festivals in the world, we’re a rich breeding ground for artistic excellence across every genre!”
Gluttony transforms Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka into what organisers describe as a “carnival-style arts hub” with everything from food markets, sit-down dinner experiences, bespoke bars and free open-air exhibition of large-scale visual art installations, including the Gluttony Sculpture Walk.
Mr Michael said: “Our hospitality offering has really ramped up for 2026. We’ve expanded Champagne Island’s seating and fizz list and added a deck at the Margarita Bar so you can enjoy lake views from its new location; there’s also a wine shop thanks to Sometimes Always, with about 80 choices – so you can pick what you fancy and sip away picnic-style under the stars.
“On the food front, 29+ vendors allow our markets cater to all tastes, including vegan and gluten-free diners, or you can savour a set menu with wines over a lakeside dinner with table service.”
