After a whirlwind tour in October, followed by three shows in November, These New South Whales are taking their latest album, GODSPEED, across the country on a monster 17-date tour.
Released at the back end of 2025, GODSPEED was one of the best Aussie releases of last year. Produced by Ben Greenberg (Depeche Mode, Drab Majesty, Show Me The Body), GODSPEED was the follow-up to their ARIA and AIR Award-nominated LP TNSW, and is a pulsating post-punk affair featuring the singles ‘INSTINCT’, ‘GODSPEED’, ‘MISS HER’, ‘BIG MACHINE’, ‘BIRDBRAIN’ and ‘PIG’.
Much like previous releases, the album tackles political and social issues, with frontman Jamie Timony having this to say about the record: “GODSPEED is about coming home to yourself, living on your own terms, reclaiming and celebrating your autonomy, and trusting your own intuition.
“It’s about freedom, self-reliance, and rejecting groupthink and false authority. Now more than ever, it’s vital to separate truth from lies, to stand up to power no matter its size – and to do it with love in our hearts, not hate, which isn’t always easy! Godspeed!”
These New South Whales’ Australian tour takes in six states and begins with an appearance at Pirate Life’s Eleventh Birthday at Pirate Life Brewery in Yartapuulti/Port Adelaide on Saturday 28 February.
