Spiderbait Celebrate 30th Anniversary Of ‘Ivy & The Big Apples’ With Australian Tour

This year marks the 30th anniversary of legendary Aussie alt-rockers Spiderbait’s third studio album, Ivy & the Big Apples.
Released in 1996, the album debuted at #3 on the ARIA Albums Chart and spawned the hit single ‘Buy Me a Pony’, which came in at number one on the Triple J Hottest 100, 1996.
Ahead of the tour, Spiderbait are releasing a 30th Anniversary Edition LP of Ivy & the Big Apples on Friday 3 July. Pre-order here.

The tour kicks off on Saturday 4 July at Brisbane’s The Tivoli, followed by shows at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Saturday 4 July, Perth’s The Ice Cream Factory on Saturday 11 July, Melbourne’s Forum on Friday 24 July and Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Saturday 25 July, with the final concert in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre on Friday 31 July.
Iconic special guests Custard, Magic Dirt, The Meanies and Tumbleweed will join the party on select dates, as emerging Melbourne rockers The Gnomes warm audiences at all shows.
