Major Lazer, Sub Focus & More Headline Field Day 2027

Sydney/Gadigal Country's annual New Year's Day spectacular, Field Day, is back with a bumper lineup headlined by global heavyweights Major Lazer, making their return to Australia for the first time in 11 years, and British DJ Sub Focus. There will also be a secret headliner revealed in the coming weeks.

Held in the heart of Sydney at The Domain on Friday 1 January, revellers can get down and dirty across three stages, including the return of Casamigos Camp Ground, proudly curated by the LGBTQIA+ community.

English DJ and producer Andy C, German-Iraqi producer and DJ Boys Noize, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Elderbrook, Sydney's own Club Angel and Scottish DJ, producer and label boss Hannah Laing are all on the bill, with the full lineup available at fieldday.com.au.

Fuzzy are also offering 18- 25-year-olds the chance to enter a ballot for $99.90 tickets so they can experience the joy of attending a music festival, with many missing out due to COVID happening during their formative years.

"With affordability becoming a real barrier for many young people, it's great to see festivals like Field Day taking practical steps to improve access. Initiatives like this ticket ballot are vital for audience development and helping a new generation experience the excitement, connection and sense of community that live music provides," says Emily Collins, Head of Sound NSW.

"The future of our industry depends on attracting and retaining new audiences, and making live music more accessible is an important part of ensuring young people can continue to participate in our state's vibrant music culture."

The 18-25 ballot will be facilitated by Moshtix Ticket Request and is open now until 11:59pm AEST Sunday 6 September.

This year Field Day celebrated its 25th anniversary, with more than 500,000 people attending the festival over the journey.

The festival has featured everyone from Rüfüs Du Sol, The xx, Disclosure and Mark Ronson, through to Tame Impala, Solange, Flume, Dom Dolla, horsegiirL and countless more.

The 2027 edition lands inside Fuzzy's own 30th anniversary - three decades of shaping the Australian music scene.
