Next year, music all-rounders Love Police celebrate 30 years of music, artistry and creativity.

The idea for Love Police originated in a Sydney park in 1997, with the organisation's founder Brian Taranto initially working on merch for festivals like Big Day Out and Summersault during the summer of 1996/1997.

The crew then turned their attention to tour promoting in March of 1997, bringing blues legend Tony Joe White down under. White's first tour for several years was originally meant to be just seven shows, but demand was so great he ended up playing 27.

Since that moment, Love Police has evolved into a successful Australian music and creative company spanning touring, merchandise, design, artist services and even a record label with international and influential friends and associates near and far.

2011 saw the company merge with ATM, becoming the undisputed leaders of Australian merchandise, working with everyone from Taylor Swift to The Chats, Cold Chisel to Royel Otis, Powderfinger to Midnight Oil and festivals including Big Day Out, Splendour In The Grass, Laneway, Groovin’ The Moo and more.

When it comes to tours and events promotion, Love Police have done it all, working with the likes of The Black Keys, Cat Power, Bob Dylan, The Strokes, Wilco, Gomez, Big Thief and many more.

"I've always felt like a kid doing this stuff. Still do, and it's been decades, but that feeling remains. Our passion for what we do is unquestionable. Caring about how it is all presented and how it all rolls is important. We look forward to a special year of celebration and good times," says Taranto.

Love Police have some great things planned for next year, so be sure to give them a follow on Instagram and Facebook to keep up to date with everything they are doing.
