Aussie hardcore favourites SPEED have announced the release of their new EP ALL MY ANGELS.
Dropping Friday 23 October via Last Ride Records in Australia and Flatspot Records in the US, the three-track EP arrives in the wake of the passing of three of the band’s close friends.
SPEED have stressed the EP is not a eulogy or homage to their lost mates, but an exploration of grief and sorrow and how this difficult period has strengthened the band’s bonds as brothers and given them clarity and peace moving forward.
The EP also finds the five-piece taking their sound to new heights as they cement their position as not only Australia’s top hardcore act, but one of the world’s most ambitious and forward-thinking heavy bands.
There is no pre-order link for ALL MY ANGELS, so keep your eye on SPEED’s social media accounts for more details.

SPEED’s rise to the top of the Aussie hardcore mountain has been fueled by the band’s DIY ethos, with the group releasing the EPs 2020 Flex (2020) and Gang Called Speed (2022) before debuting at #10 on the ARIA Album Chart last year with the acclaimed debut studio album, Only One Mode.
Praise for their progressive and inclusive take on hardcore, SPEED won their first ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album for Only One Mode in 2024 and have become known for their chaotic yet safe live shows, which are more of an immersive experience than your regular gig.
2025 has seen SPEED perform at Coachella, making them the first Australian hardcore act to do so, and play shows across the globe, with the band gearing up to support Turnstile on their US tour later this month before popping over to the UK to support Malevolence in October.
