Matt Hansen returns to Australia as part of Strummingbird Festival and announces headline shows.

Rising Californian singer-songwriter Matt Hasen returns to Australia this October and November on his Down Under Tour.
After performing in the country for the first time last year, Hansen returns as part of the lineup for the new country music festival Strummingbird Festival and has added a run of solo headline shows.
Although yet to release an album, Hansen has been sharing music since the early 2020s, having dropped four singles this year, including his most recent track ‘FOUND’, which came out at the start of August.
Hansen’s Down Under Tour includes three appearances at Strummingbird Festival on the Sunshine Coast (Saturday 25 October), Newcastle (Saturday 1 November) and Perth (Sunday 2 November). The remaining solo headline shows take place in Melbourne (Sunday 26 October), Adelaide (Tuesday 28 October) and Sydney (Wednesday 29 October).

Matt Hansen might not be a household name, but the LA-based singer-songwriter is certainly turning heads with his soulful folk meets pop rock sound.
He has over 3 million followers on TikTok, where he got his start sharing covers of his favourite songs along with his own original work.
Hansen has garnered over 900 million streams across his first ten singles, all of which he released independently, with his most popular being 2023's ‘something to remember’, a song that is reminiscent of Lewis Capaldi.
