‘Trouble Knows My Name’ is the latest rib tickler from Melbourne alt-rockers Dallas Crane.
Following on from their recent collaboration with The Superjesus’ Sara McLeod, a cover of Patti Smith’s ‘Because the Night’, Dallas Crane’s latest single is chock full of ‘90s rock goodness.
The track is a taste of the Crane’s upcoming sixth long player, which the band are currently working on. Before the release of the record, Dallas Crane are taking a quick spring break across the nation, performing three gigs in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Dallas Crane takes the stage with Hoodoo Gurus at The Barracks in Manly on Friday 19 September, then joins The Fauves at The Corner Hotel on Grand Final eve, Thursday 25 September, before finishing off their mini-tour at Adelaide’s Grace Emily with The Trafalgars on Saturday 11 October.
These are the only shows Dallas Crane are playing this year, meaning tickets are sure to go fast, so grab yours now via dallascrane.com.au.
For close to 30 years, Dallas Crane have been rocking out venues across the country with their riff-tastic brand of alt-rock that’s seen them share the stage with everyone from KISS and The Who to Def Leppard.
Dallas Crane have released five records across their journey, including 2006’s Factory Girls, which peaked at #30 on the ARIA Album Chart, and had their highest-ever charting single in 2005 when they teamed with Jimmy Barnes for the straight-up rocker, ‘Sit on My Knee’.
The current lineup of the band includes original members Dave Larkin on vocals and guitar, Chris Brodie on bass and Pete Satchell on guitar and vocals, alongside drummer Steve Pinkerton.
Catch Dallas Crane at The Grace Emily on Saturday 11 October. Tickets on sale now via oztix.com.au.
