Donny Benét Announces 2026 Australian Tour
The tour announcement coincides with the release of his new single, ‘School’s Out’.

To coincide with the release of his new single, ‘School’s Out’, funk meets jazz performer Donny Benét has announced a run of Australian shows.
‘School’s Out’ is a funky synth explosion of ‘80s good times with a bass line that’ll make you swoon. The track is the first taste of Benét’s upcoming album, il Basso, which arrives February 13, 2026, via Donny Land Records.
The album is the second instalment in his instrumental series, following his well-received 2022 EP, Le Piano, and is available for pre-order now via donnybenet.com.
Benét’s Australian tour will see him joined by his talented band, performing tracks from il Basso and classic Benet cuts.
The tour begins in Perth at the Rosemount Hotel on Friday 25 May and follows with dates at Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on Saturday 26 May, Altar Bar in Hobart on Friday 29 May, The Triffid in Brisbane on Friday 12 April and Factory Theatre in Sydney on Saturday 13 April, with the final show at Croxton Bandroom in Melbourne on Friday 19 April.

Making his name playing in jazz bands around Sydney, Benét found success with the release of his 2011 synth-inspired ‘80s debut album, Don't Hold Back.
Since then, he’s gone on to release a further five albums, with his most recent being last year’s Infinite Desire. As he begins the rollout process for his upcoming instrumental record il Basso, Benét has announced a huge North American tour, followed by a run of shows across Australia.
Set to reveal UK and European dates in the coming weeks, 2026 is shaping up as a big year for Benét, who has become a much-loved figure across the globe.
