Exciting indie pop artist Mariae Cassandra is pumped to announce her debut headline Australian tour.
“The rumours are TRUE!!! IM GOING ON TOUR!!!!!!!!!!” Cassandra posted on social media. “This has been a lifelong dream of mine, and I’m so happy we get to hold hands and skip and sing and dance together, Australia.”
The emerging Perth singer-songwriter is touring in support of her first EP, Everything In My Backpocket, which drops Friday 21 November.
Cassandra’s tour begins in Brisbane at Music Industry College on Friday 23 January and continues at Sydney’s Loft On Broadway on Saturday 24 January, Melbourne’s The Leadbeater on Sunday 25 January, Adelaide’s Nexus Arts Theatre on Friday 30 January, and wraps up with a hometown show at Perth’s The Y HQ on Saturday 31 January.

It’s been an incredible year for Perth’s Mariae Cassandra since taking out the coveted triple j Unearthed High 2024 title for her love song to a best friend, ‘MillIon Billion Trillion’.
The teenager has gained millions of views on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok and been compared to the likes of beabadoobee, Olivia Rodrigo and Clairo. Cassandra got the opportunity to support WAFIA and Spacey Jane on their sold-out tours and even shared the Laneway Festival main stage alongside hero Charli XCX.
Her debut EP is a collection of confessional songs about life as a teen, and Cassandra will be performing songs from the release when she hits the road next year.
