Tim Minchin Announces 'A Conversation With' Australian Tour
The British-born comic is hitting the road in support of his new book, You Don’t Have To Have a Dream.

Mere months after having Australian and New Zealand audiences in stitches with his highly successful ‘An Unfunny Evening’ tour, Tim Minchin has announced he’s ready to do it all again with his upcoming ‘A Conversation With’ Australian and New Zealand tour.
The tour comes in celebration of Minchin’s first book, You Don’t Have to Have a Dream, a non-fiction novel described as “Charlie Mackesy meets Kurt Vonnegut” that offers Minchin’s quirky view on the world around us.
Minchin will be joined by special guests on the tour as he chats about love, life, art and how to thrive in the modern world.
Kicking off in Perth at the Perth Concert Hall on Sunday, September 29, Minchin then travels to Adelaide for a performance at Festival Theatre on Tuesday, October 1.
The comedian and actor then has shows lined up at Hamer Hall in Melbourne on Friday, October 4, QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane on Saturday, October 5, State Theatre in Sydney on Sunday, October 6 and Wrest Point in Hobart on Sunday, October 13.
The final date takes place in New Zealand with Minchin bringing things to an end at Kiri Te Kanawa in Auckland on Wednesday, October 16.
