Moonlight Cinema has unveiled its February program that includes the return of a week of romance films in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
The Week of Romance kicks off on Tuesday 10 February with ‘90s classic Pretty Woman. Julia Roberts also stars in the next film, Notting Hill (Wednesday 11 February), which is followed by 10 Things I Hate About You (Thursday 12 February) and Dirty Dancing (Friday 13 February), before the Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi starring Wuthering Heights hits screens on Valentine’s Day (Saturday 14 February). The final film as part of the Week of Romance is The Notebook on Sunday 15 February.
The February program also includes audience favourites such as Jurassic Park, Mamma Mia and Moulin Rouge, new releases and Hollywood blockbusters, including Anaconda, Marty Supreme and Avatar: Fire & Ash and fan favourites like Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire.
“For three decades, Moonlight Cinema has been a quintessential summer ritual for millions of Australians,” says John Boero, General Manager of Entertainment Operations, EVT. “To mark this milestone, we wanted to do something special for the audiences who’ve made us part of their summer traditions. The People’s Program gives fans the chance to help shape the season and enjoy their most-loved films - under the stars, where Moonlight magic happens.”
