Maz Jobrani Announces Australian Comedy Tour 2025

American stand-up Maz Jobrani is bringing the laughs this July and August when he touches down in Oz as part of his upcoming tour.

The globally renowned comedian and actor, who is also part of the Axis of Evil comedy troupe alongside Ahmed Ahmed, Aron Kader and Dean Obeidallah, has lined up five shows as part of his whirlwind touring, kicking it all off at the PowerHouse in Brisbane on Friday, July 25.
Jobrani then takes to the stage at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Saturday, July 26, Adelaide’s Town Hall on Sunday, July 27 and Perth’s Octagon Theatre on Thursday, July 31, before wrapping up the tour with a final stand-up performance at Sydney’s State Theatre on Saturday, August 2.

Widely known for his comical take on race and family, Jobrani’s celebrated specials include the Netflix hit Immigrant, which was filmed at the Kennedy Centre, and his Showtime specials Brown and Friendly, I Come in Peace, and I’m Not a Terrorist, But I’ve Played One on TV.
A regular voice on NPR’s Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!, Jobrani has starred in several television shows and films, including series like Grey’s Anatomy, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Shameless, and movies such a Friday After Next, The Interpreter and Descendants.
A staple on the American talk show scene, Jobrani has also written his memoirs and executive produced the documentary Everything Must Change, which chronicles his sister’s battle with breast cancer.
An extremely funny man with a sharp wit and tender soul, Maz Jobrani is not to be missed when he performs in Adelaide this July.
