Acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Damien Rice returns to Australia in 2027 for three special concerts celebrating 25 years of his iconic debut album, O.

Written, recorded and produced at his home and funded by a loan from his father that needn't be repaid if the record was finished, O is a truly independent release that captures Rice's wistful and vulnerable lyricism across 10 folk-inspired compositions.

Released in February 2002 on his own label, O spawned the singles 'The Blower's Daughter', 'Cannonball' and 'Volcano', and was widely acclaimed by critics, peaking at #2 on the Irish Albums Chart.

Excited to commemorate the album's 25th anniversary, Rice has locked in one show at Melbourne's Hamer Hall on Tuesday 9 February, before two nights at Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 February.

Frontier Member pre-sale runs for 24 hours from 10am AEDT Thursday 22 October, followed by the general on-sale at 10am AEDT Friday 23 October. Ticketing information is available at frontiertouring.com.

Rice's Australian shows kick off his O 25th Anniversary Tour that consists of 25 shows across 25 cities and includes stops in Asia, the UK, Europe, South America and North America.

Having built a reputation as not only a great songwriter, as seen on follow-up albums 9 and My Favourite Faded Fantasy, but also a compelling live performer, tickets to his upcoming Australian shows are sure to sell out quickly.
