Melbourne/Naarm psych-folk rocker Winter McQuinn is gearing up for the release of his third album, Where Are We Now?, due out 19 September via Third Eye Stimuli Records (pre-order here).
The album contains nine tracks recorded with a plethora of incredibly talented artists, including Dylan Young (Way Dynamic), Feign Jima, Hot Apple Band, Shelby De Fazio (Bad Bangs), Chet Sounds, Acacia Coates, GFS and Rudy Polacheck.
An introspective record where McQuinn poses the question, “Where are we heading?”, the album is the singer-songwriter’s most personal yet.
To celebrate, McQuinn has announced a run of national shows across the country from September to November. Accompanied by his band, McQuinn will play 13 shows, including support slots for Sonny & The Sunsets, Kacy & Clayton and Sylvie.
McQuinn kicks things off at Rocksteady Records in Melbourne on Friday 19 September and continues with shows in Kyneton, Anglesea, Castlemaine, Adelaide, Thirroul, Sydney, Valla, Archies Creek, Melbourne, Brisbane and Bangalow, with the final gig on Friday 28 November at Tanswells Hotel in Beechworth.
