After selling out their final ever appearance at the Cranker (at least in its current form), beloved local rockers West Thebarton have announced a special gig at Port Elliot’s Yeo Haus.
Making the trip down to the Fleurieu Peninsula to perform live for the very first time, West Theb are taking over the venue on Saturday 19 July for what promises to be a sweat-inducing night of old-fashioned rock and roll.
The powerhouse six-piece won’t be going it alone, with punk rock trio Kurralta Park and the enigmatic Joe & the Mad Cuppas joining West Theb on their coastal excursion.
Tickets are just $30 + BF via moshtix.com.au or $40 on the door if not sold out.
West Theb’s one-night-only appearance at Yeo Haus comes after a fairly quiet start to the year, with the band still basking in the glory of their awesome 2024 sophomore album, MONGREL AUSTRALIA.
“These songs have been written over quite a long stretch,” said frontman Ray Dalfsen when reflecting on MONGREL AUSTRALIA in conversation with The Note ahead of the album’s release last year. “It’s super exciting for us to have it out there. It’s like pull starting a chainsaw. I cannot wait... The West Theb train keeps rolling!”

Getting their start as West Thebarton Brothel Party more than a decade ago, the band changed their name to West Thebarton and became heroes of the local music scene.
Their career has seen the release of two albums, Different Beings Being Different in 2018 and Mongrel Australia in 2024, with the collective having also gone through several lineup changes over the journey.
The current iteration of the group comprises Ray Dalfsen (lead vocals, guitar), Josh Healey (guitar, backing vocals), Tom Gordon (guitar, backing vocals), Brian Bolado (guitar, percussion, backing vocals), Nick Horvat (bass) and Caitlin Thomas (drums).
With no more shows announced for the rest of 2025 so far, fans are urged to grab a ticket and hit the coast for what promises to be an awesome night of local live music.
