Ethanol Blend Plot Australian Tour

The local act are touring in support of their fourth long player, Can’t Help But Wonder.

Tarntanya/Adelaide rockers Ethanol Blend are embarking on an eight-date national tour this August and September.

Riding high from the release of their fourth studio album, Can’t Help But Wonder, the five-piece are hitting the road. Four of the shows are supporting The Grogans on their upcoming album tour, with the other four headline shows including a free gig in Pareeyt/Mt Gambier and a final show at The Ed Castle in Tarntanya/Adelaide.

Fans can expect to hear new tracks from Can’t Help But Wonder, including singles ‘Run (Lies)’, ‘Madison’ and ‘Rabbit Hole’, alongside tracks from their previous three records.

The tour commences at Boorloo/Perth’s The Rechabite on Friday 8 August and continues with a hometown show at Tarntanya/Adelaide’s The Gov on Saturday 9 August. Ethanol Blend then head to Naarm/Melbourne for two concerts at 170 Russell on Friday 15 August and The Gem on Saturday 16 August, before a trip to Nipaluna/Hobart for two shows a Republic Bar on Friday 22 August and The Twisted Lime on Saturday 23 August. The band rounds out its Aussie jaunt with a free show at Bellum Hotel in Pareeyt/Mt Gambier on Saturday 30 August and The Ed Castle in Tarntanya/Adelaide on Friday 5 September.

Formed as a solo project by Jack Stokes in 2019, Ethanol Blend has evolved into a five-member garage rock act featuring the talents of Dale Lasslet, Zack Dowd, Bernadette Wright and Alex McDonald.

Ethanol Blend have released four albums – The Blend, Pt. 1, The Blend Part 2., Anodised and Can’t Help But Wonder – and quietly established themselves as one of Adelaide’s great live acts.
